The Black Diamond Single Bowl Kitchen Sink, Anthracite is simple, durable, and elegant. Made of silgranit, a combination of 80% natural granite and an acrylic resin, it looks and feels like natural granite yet has none of the problems. By design, installation is simple, both overmount and drop-in. At 9.5 inches, this sink is also very deep, allowing you to place quite a lot in it at once.

Due to the silgranit material, the sink has a very natural color that will not fade over time. Unlike stainless steel sinks, the Black Diamond Kitchen Sink is very resistant to scratches, and unlike cast iron sinks, it will not chip easily. The color goes all the way through since it comes from the sink’s material, rather than a coating of some sort, so the sink will not lose any color even if it does scratch.

The non-porous material makes it smooth, and cleaning is a breeze. Being non-porous, the sink also resists a large number of household stains very well, from common stains such as mustard to difficult ones such as hair dyes. Even hard water stains, a common problems in granite sinks, present little problem for this sink.

Unlike many other sinks, there is little to no noise with the Blanco Diamond Single Bowl Kitchen Sink when running water or placing dishes inside. The resilient material will also be much less likely to break fragile dishes such fine china or real crystal. Dropping a hot skillet or pan into this sink is not a problem either. The sink is heat resistant – up to over 500 degrees!
